You jelly?

The guy driving it was a test driver doing quality assurance. He said it was all dirty, 'cause the engineers wouldn't keep their grubby hands off of it. Oh, and the sound was glorious.

Holy crap. And look at the size of that ProMaster! I've been in one of those and can say, yep, they are massive. I'm a bit jelly.

They were together. Doing Chrysler/FIAT testing, I suppose. I can't say I was as taken by the van as the car, though...

I have some irrational levels of want for this car... it's like an Alfa SW20

While the Italians - and Alfa Romeo especially - are known for hammering their cars together in a collective drunken stupor; I would bet this is a pre-production engineering car. I don't think panel gap tolerances are all that important.

Quality assurance tells me "hey, here's the finished car go break it".

First off hubba.

Second, where is this? I see Michigan plates, and I've seen about every Chrysler/Ford test mule, why I have I not seen this one?!

This was in Beaverton, Oregon. It was quite a surprise to walk out of Coldstone and see this sitting there. I practically sprinted over to make sure I could snap some pictures before it ran off.

The guy says that the test facility is on Swan Island in Portland.
